Rosemary bookkeeping is delivered by a network of franchisees who are all trained in the Rosemary System®. They are supported by four business women who have a combined 60 years of bookkeeping, accountancy and marketing experience.
The Rosemary System® training enables them to deliver efficient reporting to clients and their accountants and is specifically focused around the popular suite of Sage Accounts software, commonly used by businesses and accountants.
Joanna Dennis BA(Hons) FCCA, Development Director
Lisa Curteis, Recruitment Director
Lisa is a Founding Director of Rosemary Bookkeeping. She has played a key role in its development and has contributed towards the rapid growth of the Franchise, primarily responsible for Franchise Recruitment and Operations. She has raised the profile of Rosemary Bookkeeping in the franchise world and also amongst its peers in the Accountancy and Bookkeeping field.
Lisa’s considerable business skills were honed during her decade working with a firm of management consultants. She joined when the company was first formed and played a key role in its ensuing development; by the time she left, it had become a highly successful £multi-million concern. Lisa was responsible for all aspects of marketing and operations which then allowed the consultants to deliver their projects successfully to a very high standard of service – valuable experience which is of particular relevance to her present role.
In 2013 Lisa was elected onto the Associate Board of the bfa, representing other Associate members. Lisa is keen to pass on her knowledge of the franchise market and to help the bfa in promoting ethics within franchising.
Lisa lives in Hertfordshire with her husband and 3 children. She competes in a local netball league, is an aspiring golfer and is committed to fundraising for both local and national charities.
Claire Watson-Bardot, Head of Training and Support
Claire's career began in the Registrar's Department of the Bank of England. Progressing along an interesting and quite unusual path, Claire became one of the first members of staff appointed to the Bank of England's Museum. A transfer to the Bank's Public Liaison Group followed, with further promotion that involved dealing with correspondence on behalf of the Governor of the Bank of England. Returning to manage the Bank's Museum, she was further promoted to Manager of Conferences and Functions. Claire served the Bank of England for almost twenty years, during which time she became an accomplished administrator, running departments efficiently and effectively.
In 2002 Claire established the original business in Hertfordshire. The practical experience gained along the way provided a strong foundation for new developments and in 2008, as a result of its significant success, we set up the business model upon which the Rosemary Bookkeeping Franchise is based. Claire trains and supports all franchisees to ensure they deliver a first-class bookkeeping service to their clients.
Claire, a wildlife enthusiast, also lives in Hertfordshire, with her husband and daughter.
